Privacy Policy

Privacy policy for repair referral requests, named-provider permission, private storage and contact choices.

1. Scope and responsible operator

This policy describes information used by the Boise Repair request-referral website. The operator responsible for this website and referral service is Yurii Skorokhod. For privacy, access, correction or deletion requests, contact Yurii Skorokhod at yskor79@gmail.com. Boise Repair is the website name operated by Yurii Skorokhod. The dispatcher number is (208) 510-0950. Please send privacy requests to the email above.

2. Information you provide

The form collects your name, optional business name, phone and/or email, preferred contact method, city, ZIP code, machine brand and optional model, equipment and service type, symptoms and whether the machine is out of service. You can attach up to three equipment or label photos. We re-encode accepted images and remove EXIF metadata, but visible text or people in a photo may still be personal information. Please crop unrelated information and do not send payment credentials or identity documents.

3. Why we use information

We use request details to understand the equipment and location, contact you about a possible provider, handle questions and document the permissions and introductions you choose. A request ID and timestamps support administration and duplicate prevention. The initial acknowledgement records the versions and wording shown with the form. It does not authorize sending your information to repair providers.

4. A named provider, with your permission

Before a transfer, we tell you the name of the proposed independent provider and identify the information needed for the introduction. We ask for separate permission and record its time, method, wording, provider and the dispatcher who documented it. We share only the agreed necessary contact and equipment details; photographs are included only if you approve them. Another provider or additional fields require another permission. We do not automatically distribute your request to an unspecified group or treat it as permission for advertising. Once a provider receives information, its own handling and privacy practices also apply; ask it about those practices.

5. Hosting and communication tools

The website uses Render hosting in Oregon, United States, with private storage for enquiries and photos. Cloudflare manages the domain and DNS; GitHub stores application source code, not customer records. Resend can deliver a minimal new-enquiry alert to the operator at Gmail: the alert contains a request reference and a link to private administration, not customer contacts, symptoms or photos. Full request details remain in private storage. Telephone enquiries use the business number and its dispatcher service. Website submissions do not subscribe you to marketing or SMS; this application does not send SMS or record calls. A repair provider receives your details only after separate permission for that named provider.

6. Browser storage, measurement and security logs

The website uses a short-lived confirmation cookie and the website uses a session cookie for request security. Where available, browser session storage keeps allowlisted campaign labels, the landing-page path and external referrer hostname. Arbitrary query parameters and advertising click IDs are discarded. Measurement events stay in the browser; no Google Analytics, advertising pixel, enhanced conversions or contact export to an ad platform is enabled. General event payloads exclude names, email, phone, photos and symptom text. Server-side request logging suppresses contact details and query strings, while infrastructure providers may process IP addresses and technical access/security records under their own policies. Do not put private information into a URL or campaign label.

7. Access, retention and deletion

Request details and photos are restricted to authorized operators. We use HTTPS, password-protected administration and private storage. No security measure is an absolute guarantee. We review inactive enquiries monthly and ordinarily remove request details, photos and associated permission records within 90 days after an enquiry is closed or becomes inactive. Records needed for an active dispute or a specific legal obligation may be retained longer for that purpose. Private backup copies are retained for up to 30 days, so a deleted record may remain there until those copies expire; a restored backup must reapply deletions. Send access, correction or deletion requests to yskor79@gmail.com. We do not place customer records in the source repository.

8. Choices and requests

You may decline sharing with a proposed provider or withdraw permission before the transfer. You may ask us to correct inaccurate details or explain a documented transfer. After a transfer, also contact the provider about information it holds. The operator will assess deletion requests against any applicable legal requirements and explain any record that must be retained. A withdrawal cannot undo information already lawfully received by a provider. No optional advertising consent is required to ask about a repair referral. This website does not send SMS. Request-related contact uses your provided contact details and preference.

9. Policy updates

This policy applies from October 14, 2026. Material changes will be dated and communicated as appropriate; saved acknowledgements retain the original version. Contact the operator with questions about this policy.
